Doing the pet illustration project was very easy and fun to do. My inspiration for the work was using my cat. The piece I originally wanted it to match up with the picture but some of the lines weren’t very straight so that was pretty difficult. I originally wanted to do a llama but then I decided to do my cat because it would be easier and look a little better. Some of the things I thought I did good with was the coloring because there were more colors when you would go closer to the picture. I also thought I did well with making sure that I tried to get as much detail in the picture as possible. A challenge I encountered was trying to get my lines straight and to make sure there was no empty spaces because having empty spaces would make the picture look bad. I grew as an artist by learning that by just using a picture you can make anything look like that.
